We created a set of three projection mapped animations for Blackberry’s playbook launch.
Early inclusion allowed us to consult on the stage design.
Our client workshops led us to focus on the Blackberry logo as the main vehicle that would drive the animation.
Our concept was to show how the spirit of Blackberry ran through mankind’s milestones in communications.
A 3D woodcut effect was created to capitalise on shadows and perspective possible projection mapping and helped to avoid associating Blackberry with the usual projecting clichés of the day.
This original style told the tale of the Blackberry logo as being at the heart of innovation in communication history.
