Deadmau5 is a Canadian electronic music producer, DJ, and musician.

For his world tour, we worked with our partners at Three Six Zero Group to design and produce a stage which could expand and contract depending on the size of the venue.

Using vertical thin LED panels we created an installation where the distance between the panels could increase or decrease when the stage was assembled.

The adjustment of the panels took no extra time to set up; the crew would simply lay down the bases differently.

We also created a full tour’s worth of visual content and controlled all the LED fixtures on our Ai Media server.

Our visual content was based on games, retro arcade styles, and the current trends in illustration and graphic design in East London.

We designed the installation to fit in one lorry and supplied two of our technicians full-time on the world tour.

The tour was rated ‘#1 Top Live 2009‘ DJ Mag.
