LoVR is a virtual reality tour created by Aaron Bradbury with music by Jon Hopkins.
More than 100,000 chemical reactions happen in your brain every second.
So what would the neural activity of “love at first sight” look like? If we could capture those few seconds, what would the data look like?
How would we represent the different messages being sent and received in the various areas of the brain?
LoVR is a document of this moment. A poem written within data. A visualisation of love.
As chemicals are released and areas of the brain activated, a story told through neural activity is revealed within the data.
The heart beats, the iris dilates and time stands still as two lovers see each other for the first time.
Aaron Bradbury created this first for the FullDome Festival in association with NSC Creative, and he then went on to complete the award-winning work in VR, presented by Immersive International.
