The Smile campaign aimed to highlight that positive action can be a fundamental driving force in overcoming environmental challenges. Immersive International collaborated with WWF China to create a video and poster campaign featuring a mosaic of tens of thousands of people’s smiles. The OOH advertising was executed in multiple cities throughout China including Shanghai, Beijing, Wuhan and Shenzhen.
Creatively, the objective was also to make it feel dynamic, artistic and positive while communicating a complex idea in a short video. We developed a bespoke multi-software pipeline to create this very complex image mosaic based animation as no existing conventional techniques allowed us complete control in one application.
